Peter, Land Rover looks great, workmanship & attention to detail is second to none. As for the shotgun & knife they are absolutely mind blowing!! Looks like you can turn your hand to anything. What do you do for a living ?

See now you should come over to the UK for a spell.....both my Disco and shotgun could do with a bit of Petrakiev magic!!

Bloody fantastic project,great photos.Well Done.How is your black expansion tank holding out?Be prepared for it to leak along the seam at some stage in the future.Would recommend stocking up on a white tank.Also keep an eye on the oil cooler hoses...eventually they will leak at the crimps and drop oil all over the front diff.Cheap enough from Island 4x4.

Same/identical are these Prop Shaft 32degrees of Qt and mm-4x4.

300 Tdi Discovery Rear Wide Angle Prop Shaft:
200 Tdi/300 Tdi Discovery Rear Wide Angle Prop Shaft - P1025/A - Prop Shafts - Engine & Transmission - Discovery Series I - Qt Services

Discovery Front Wide Angle Prop Shaft:
Defender & Discovery Front, Defender Rear Wide Angle Prop Shaft - P1020 - Prop Shafts - Engine & Transmission - Defender 110 - Qt Services

mm-4x4 :
Wide Angle Prop Shaft - Please Click Image to Select Front Rear etc

........ which are better Qt or mm-4x4?

I may be wrong so correct me someone if I am.

It looks to me that the mm4x4 is not for the 300TDi Discovery but for the older 200 and Defender. You could however change the output shafts and use the 200TDI Discovery propshafts without the silly doughnut which will tear apart at wide angles.

Consequently the QT items are more suitable. However would it not be better to spend a little more and get the De Cardon props from say, Gwyn Lewis or similar? I am saving for these double jointed versions myself.

All wide angle Propshafts are the same, made by same manufacturers.

Double cardan jointed prop is a plus for big lifts because it reduces any vibration, but is not so suitable because they often have an OEM slip joint which is not long enough.

The Bailey Morris is available custom with a double cardan joint and an extended slip, but the off the shelf models are just D2 props.

Peter, buy wide angle prop from cheapest supplier, I bought mine on eBay for £160 including Uk delivery. Ian, i advise the same mate.

Perhaps all will buy from Qt
3 Degree Radius Arms & Trailing Arms Package, Wide Angle Prop Shaft, Rear Rear .
By cheaper of £140 I do not find them.

You will save a lot on courier charges of you buy all from the same company!
