My land rover discovery projects

I have wanted to start a little thread about my landys for a while but im not very good with this computer rubbish, so here goes!


This is my first ever landrover
it WAS a 300tdi with a 200tdi engine


i then put on a 5 inch lift with 2 inch spacers, a snorkel, tank guard, steering guard and extended arches. oh and big wheels


But i think the lift kit was abit high lol.

oh sh*t!

when did you do this? have a replacement yet?!

well looks like at least a body change is in order for you! but still you've hopefully got a lot of spares there.

problem with these high lifts is raising the centre of gravity, you cannot safely climb or decent steep slopes.
still, I do like the look of the streamlined disco in the last pic

any help you need get to the discovery section of this forum.

Ouch! Check out the shutlines around the rear door lol! Rear wheel looks bent too. Did anyone get injured?

Soft top it! Roll cage and back on the road

See now that's a intro welcome . how far up was it and how many rolls

its more aerodynamic now...

Leave as is, it's now aerodynamic and will give better mpg

My RRC is on standard suspension and I want a rollcage

No one was injured. I got to the top of the hill and did half a turn. But now all the parts are on my new disco 200tdi, because the chassis was too rusty.
I will put the pics of my new disco soon

I still have the 2 inch lift springs that came with this car which i want rid of. if anyone is interested they are located in scarborough.

Its the yellow ones on the right. but all the bits on the pic are for sale.
