Get a set of modulars and bolt em on. Get a set of standard steels and cut the centres out! Fix new mountings to hub and attach trims! Simples :D

Is that the only way of fitting a centre cap to cover the bearings? Will the LR covers that cover the nuts not lock in place when pushed on?

They lock on in the centre, it's the only way I know of.

What we need is a metal worker to fabricate some kind of repro of the centre cap fitting on standard steel wheels to fit on aftermarket modulars. It would be ideal if he had a set of modulars to work from, and as there are more of us buying modulars..... ;)

T'was easy on my Paj as the standard allys had a removable springy centre bit which I persuaded to fit behind the modulars and fit the caps too.

The centres of the steels are pressed outwards and have a lip to secure the trim to, I spent ages trying to figure out a way of doing it and that was the easiest I could come up with. There's no reason why they couldn't be made on a lathe but it comes down to cost, I had the wheels.............
