Well, we've had quite a bit of snow today - about 5inches(ish).

Took the kids sledging on Dunstable Downs and then thought we've drive to over the top, just because we could!! Anyway about 1/4 the up, there was a BMW Z3 sitting there with an oldish couple in, looking as thought they were having some issue in going uphill in the snow and ice. I pulled up beside them and asked them if they wanted a tow, which they gratefully accepted.

Whilst it wasn't the heaviest thing to tow, the hippo did her job superbly - TC never lit up and we got over the top with no probs.

I had only got the tow rope about a month ago and it's already been of use :D

Feel well shuffed to have helped someone out today!!

Had thought of that, but I think what gave it away was that he was behind me and we were going uphill in a forward motion!!!

My physics is a tad rusty, but I think that means I was towing him - happy to be proved wrong though....:D

Pulled the local 'Dreams' bed store manager up a hill this morning, says he will do me a heavy discount in return for the favour :D

Also got to play with a shiny 2010 Defender in the early snow this morning fetching the dayshift in. Heated Front windows, elec windows, A/C .... I think the 'Tufty club' are going soft :D I tell you something though I'd forgotten how little windscreen height there is on them, still nice memories ;)
