My Engine Has Gone Bang-2.5 Dt Bmw Unit

After all the problems i have had with the car since i bought it the engine has now blown up.

My Wife was driving to Wales last friday and smoke filled the car. She pulled over and got recovered home.
Once the garage who i bought the car off 4 weeks earlier had a very irrate phone call they picked it up and took a look at it.

Turns out the engine is scrap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are sourcing and fitting me a new one.

i saw a claimed working complete bmw 2.5 diesel engine that came out of a 98 range rover on ebay recently for £100, i was tempted to buy it just for spares, but didnt. maybe worth a look?
