Nice motor-not much snow for you tho.those recovery shackles onto the bull bars?Bit risky, pulled mine off like that.

Cool.

2" lifted springs & shocks?

How does the snorkel work? Never seen any not going into the engine bay without going through the wing ... any chance of some pics of the snorkel and plumbing, especially if it goes through the standard airbox & air filter, and how you go through the bonnet?
Please ... ;)

Dunno.

Well, 's obvious I dunno or I wouldn't have asked ... ;)

Hi paul, it's homemade as i'm bit poor, normal air box is removed and it has two filters inside the pipework and a t piece of pipe that the water runs into and you unscrew the bottom and it runs out once it's quite full but i'v never had any real amount of water in it, hope that helps.

Yeah, no worries. I just need some decent flexible pipe to make mine up .. got most of the rest of the bits, including an old airbox I can cut up and make properly waterproof.

How do you go through into the engine bay then? Is it through a bonnet cutout or through the bit between the bonnet and windscreen?

It's threw the bit between the windscreen and the bonnet, but had to cut a bit of the bonnet so the pipe doesn't get squashed, then a small cut in the bulk head(just enough space for the pipe).

Right, cheers.

Hadn't thought of it that way, much neater for where we are as most of the lanes round here can be tight against bushes, so snorkels that go through the wing have to be very solid .. ;) Have to measure up this weekend and see what's what.

Any chance of a couple of pics of the fixing and bonnet/bulkhead cutout tomorrow, whenever you get chance, no rush ?
