Hi all I my 2000 D2 Td5 with 380000 kms on the clock, is having some problems, to meke it easy to explain (I´m from Chile), I will explain as ease as I can.
1. I bought it 2 yeas ago with 325000 kms, and good starting.
2. One year later, the star got a little longer, then I changed the wiring harnes, clean the ECU terminal and glow plugs (everything was the same after that).
3. I keep on using the LR.
4. 6 month ago, the LR stops when it was in lo revs, we take the FRP out and was very dirty, we checked and cleaned. The mechani told me thet the take some small filter frome one of the pipes that run frome the diesel filter. After that, the fuel pump sound a lot (It have never sound like that before) and wat it´s more wired to me it´s the fact taht If I have a miss start and wait for 5 second (with the key at OFF), the filter have to refuel the circuit again. Even more, when the LR is runing normally the fuel pump is running and you can hear it clearlly.
My guess is that I have no presure enough on the diesel circuit, then the star is long.
When the car is hot, everything is easier.
Somthing that could be relatated is some temperature sensor is giving rong information, because car is runing there is hot air coming from the vents.
I have a HAWKEYE and no faults, should I check some specific parametrs.
