My 90 300tdi rebuild

Friend of mine is a painter so he got the paint but any paint motor factors will mix you stuff up, I got 3 litres, might need a bit more to do the roof the same colour, it's mixed 2 to 1 with hardener, real easy to mix with the plastic cups! Fill to one line then to the next with hardener then about 10% thinners, got a poly tunnel from eBay about £140 delivered paint in the morning by the afternoon it's an oven on a sunny day!

got a few more bits painted and bolted up, ordered some cheap foam stuff between the van sides and rear tub, and honestly it was ****! off to buy some proper stuff, learning the hard way in bolting stuff back up! wish someone would of done a step by step manual

dont fit front wings till you have doors and gaps sorted

what difference will the wings make? ill put them on towards the end as i want to get all the mechanics spot on, dont want to be leaning over nice fresh wings

you wont be able to alter bulkhead spacing or angle if wings are fitted

fair enough, bloody SP Landrover doors messing me about, sent me some doors and they werent primed properly, so waiting for them to send me new fully galvanized ones.

That paint job looks tremendous and the polytunnel is a great idea. Well done, mate.

paint early on and the sun bakes it in the afternoon, well thats the idea with the poly tunnel pretty wind resistant aswell, had a gazibo lasted about 2 weeks. waste of time and money!
