The one pipe comes out of the water pump then goes under the manifold direct to the heater box, Hopefully you can see where the others go.

Damn..........thanx for your help, can you see where the other pipe from the water pump is going, cant see on the pickys, the rear shot is fantastic.

I had some spare time on my hands this morning...............
Before......

From memory it went into the front of the manifold and the other went under.

I noticed on the chassis that I took my efi out of that the right exhaust down pipe has been close to it and the constant heating cooling has made it very thin and in places gone through. I will get a pic tomorrow if I remember but it's worth checking.

Anyone here using a A&R power amp for the electronic ignition on their V8's. it seems to be very legit, was thinking of getting one for my old lady.

Did some more cleaning to my Rangy today, fitted a temporary battery and started and ran the engine some more, being steady but going higher and higher in the rpm range and keeping it at a constant rpm for 30 second at a time.........woooooo she is so smooth and not a single noise from the engine, it seems that the intake has settled and stopped leaking water......will keep a very close eye on that, the good news is every part where I have worked does not leak oil..........but........there is a oil leak and it looks like the rear main, would not surprise me after 12 years of just sitting there.

So this week coming I will put her in the naughty corner and start with the brakes and suspension.

I have heard good reports, they are pretty dear though! i will probably end up running one tbh, but for the money may be worth considering going over to fully programable spark like mega jolt or megasquirt if your feeling brave haha!

I will check them out, did not know of them..............do yourself a favour and check out DUI distributors out, I think this may work for me.

Just checked the two you mentioned here...........I am trying to simplify........when out landing in the outback and have a concern it could take weeks before you come across another human being for help.
I really like the DUI setup.

Well not much going on...........I have eventually made the new radiator brackets, I used 1.2mm stainless steel and all hand crafted..........so excuse the imperfections this is my first attempt at manufacturing things. My next bracket is the receiver/drier bracket, I just need to figure how to roll the stainless steel.

Also have just about stripped the front suspension and swivels and wheel bearings, started bead blasting the various parts that I want to powder coat, and paint, and in the mean time I have to order some bearing's,gaskets, seals and bump stops and coil spring isolators.

Got some time today to do a little bit of work...........😛

Seems like I am boring with what I am doing........but I don't care I am having fun......
Today I was a bit productive. Removed swivels, renewed half shaft seals, tapped all bolt holes, renewed swivel bearings, renewed wheel bearings, fitted some of the new steering parts and the steering damper, fitted the new upgraded discs and callipers and brake pads, removed the bent steering protector, will get something better that works with the winch bumper.

This may be disappointing to you as I have learnt that most people here don't like Britparts.
It's a 85Amp and you are right, bolt off the old bolt on the new and I swapped the two pulleys just to keep the speed correct. Its a Britpart. I have been searching for a big alternator and this was the biggest I could find............at that stage. As it always is with me searching for stuff I always somehow find the stuff I really want after I have bought what seemed to be what I was after..........weird "ing stuff. Price was $168 and it was this much because I had no exchange unit.

There is a 130Amp available from the US for my vehicle, and yours, just search, I will check and see if I can do the linky thingy for you.

wowser not cheep, My plan is to get a second hand bosh type (easily serviceable) and swap the pulleys, just hope they will swap! did it just literally bolt off and on?

Yes bolt off bolt on, even the wiring was bolt off bolt on, what not cheap, here in OZ they want $220 for the same thing plus exchange, in UK you should pay less because you can give your old alt as exchange unit.
You can with a few modifications fit a VW 120Amp alternator thats a Bosch unit.
