Them holes are what attaches the second row upstand to the crossmember. Not for the seat brackets.

Upstand/Bracket/Metal thing

I am getting quotes from people who can spray the body. I am also looking into doing it myself. The one quote I have so far is 2500EUR including paint. I don´t particularly need a factory finish, something decent looking will do.

I have been looking at the site below and various videos online. What is the correct white for a 1998 300tdi? It was originally supplied to the Croatian Border Police if that helps.
