I'm thinking of fitting one of these (MUD Defender Console) to my 1993 110 CSW with the intention of putting the CD/radio, CB, and a few extra gauges, switches etc in it.

Has anyone got any experience of these consoles and if so, what are they like? What switches/guages can you fit and how easy is it to install the thing?

Any thoughts etc much appreciated (might be getting one for my brithday next week!!!):D .

Not to difficult at all really, more or less any switch you can get will fit in, it would look better to get a row of the same switch obviously, but it all just depends what you want to install in it etc...

They are pretty good for giving you more space to put switches and meters, and also gives the dash a slightly upgraded look.

It looks rather good if you want my opinion, I have been racking my brains over a new dash and have been looking at all types of vehicles to adapt one. I bet it's a lot cheaper than the one that scorpion robbing are selling

im thinking about getting one 2. have you got yours. does it look good? where did you get yours from?

Ah've got one of them Mud jobbies in mine...

I've got one of the transmission tunnels fitted and it sits perfectly still. Mine is wedged between the cubby box and the fuse cover though. I had to modify the OBD bracket though to enable on board diagnostics to be used without having to remove it.
