Not true, they are really good engines, but bear in mind that when they go wrong they need a computer to fix em, and the computer that runs em doesn't like water! (it's under the seat so if it's likely to get wet it should be moved!)

who buys a TD5 then drowns it ? a 200tdi yes, a 300tda yes but a TD5 ? you gotta be crazy to soak the carpets :crazy:

opppssssssssss. my mistake there, i am full of flu with a thick head (nothing unusual there) and was reading the discovery forum just before i read that message and was thinking of the TD5 discovery ! the defender should be used i agree. sorry my mistake, ok im ready for the beating now :brick:

YEA BUT IM SOBER !!! i dont even drink.
i blame it on the flu. my head feels like its got a 110 driving round it while running on red diesel and veg oil then again it might be im just a bit thick

went out at 12 got home at 8 (i think
