Hi all,
having changed my rear diff mounts i still have a rumble from under-niegh some-where.Does the ird unit have mounts if so where ?.I also have noticed that there seems to be alot of engine movement, does this mean that the engine mounts have gone if so where r they and r they easy to change? Thanks

It all of a sudden seems to be going wrong.

If you have changed the Rear Diff mount and there is still a rumble then chances are it will be one or both of the Propshaft support bearings at fault. You'll find them at either side of the Viscous Coupling. Inspect the rubber boot ensuring that it has not detached from the mounting frame. Another fault with the support bearing is that dirt ingress can get into the bearings themselves cause a grinding noise when the propshaft turns. Hope this helps.

Thanks for all the replys but the rumble can be heard at approx 1100 revs when the hippo is not moving as well as when it is moving.
