well miracles do happen and the disco passed its mot today

was extremely nervous seeing it was the first one for me since owning it and all the work i done paid off

wasn't an advisory but was told to keep an eye on the rear upper wishbone bushes

will just get the arms complete fitted , can't take a job like that on myself as i believe u need good air tools and sometimes the wishbones need to be cut in half to get them out

am so pleased it passed :D

Its a really good feeling. I always fear the worst. I must be a pessimist.

not at all, think we all get nervous

it was the unknown that worried me the most , went over it the best i could but always feared i had missed something

also no mention of me blanking the egrs and removing both the egr pipes

still plenty of work to do but happy that at least it got through today and making progress with it

It always amazes me the number of peeps that don't bother to check even the basics befor an MoT.

Why risk a failure because of a number plate lamp being out? And the PRICES they charge for replacing a bulb :(.

im that sad i even check the tyre pressure beforehand

got my neighbour last night to check all my lights for me, would kick myself if it had failed on a simple blown bulb

also double check the windscreen washer bottle is full and the jets are lined up to the windscreen and not going over the roof

I agree, there are so many things that even an owner with no mechanical ability can check before the MoT, even if they have to pay somebody or ask a neighbour or friend to help with the repair work.
Things like tyre wear, lights, wipers, horn, windscreen condition, washer bottle, seat belts and so on.

I find the local supermarkets full length windows do a good job for checking the rear lights. Reverse up and check them in the mirrors, not sure what the girls on the checkout think as I flash away and then drive off. :p:p:p

Cheers
