Wanna do mine for me only needs noo:

Sills.
Boot floor.
Front Wheel Arches.
Rear Wheel Arches.
Rear CrossMember.
Rear Body Mounts.
Rear Wheel inner arches.
Both rear doors
O/S front door.
Think that's about it??

Redhand your list makes me feel better....I had both rear wheel arches and a small hole in the chassis...and the ABS light...

warnings,
steering top UJ,as discopaul
one front wheel bearing
and hole in chassis outrigger that the front bump mounts on.

Of course I have done most of your list in the past, apart from the door....what's wrong with them?

That's just what I've found in a quick 5 minute look over. Door's have corroded & the skins have seperated.

Funnily enough injuns fine & it drives great. Even the Aircon works

And people slag the Freelander????????????????????????

Aye but this one is 18 years old & still going. Bet ya won't be able to say that about ya fooking gaylander

:p :p

Isn't exactly ticking along like a swiss watch according to your own list. I'm willing to bet that my good Freelander could easily match that in 18 years as could most of the 18 year old heaps down at my local scrappy.:D

Drove it home (50 miles) and it never missed a beat. got 80+ out of it and it still had a bit left in reserve. Mechanically It's sound as a pound. (what recession) shame it's got terminal tinrot. :D 2 owners from new. even the Aircon still works. all the leccy windows work and the central locking works on every door even the back one:rolleyes:

It isn't very likely that yu'll be able to say that about ya gaylander and yu know it. Well not without it having had a couple of engine transplants and a new transmission system been fitted. Oh and how many times will yu have had to gaffer tape the doors back on it??? :p
