The subject was a typo, but if the shoe fits...

Discovery just failed its MOT, emissions, wheel bearing, rust. Although I was told if I remove the electrics and tow ball the rust wouldn't be a problem. It wouldn't even pass the emissions on LPG. Don't have money to fix. Can't fix myself, after having a head-on crash in my wife's Jumbuck last week, I'm not in any state to lift a hammer. Tax is only till end of month, so if I can't sell it it will be scrapped.

Still, could be worse. When you hit another car head-on, both cars doing ~45mph, I could be dead. Had to be cut out. OPA who hit me normally lives in Spain and forgot which side of the road he should be on. The couple of pints he'd just had at the pub didn't help, but unfortunately he blew just under the limit.

I've had to stop taking the pain killers (codeine), I've given birth twice this week. There should be a warning label on them tablets.

SORN it until your fit and ready to look at it?
I only have drive space for one car and the TVR is taking that up.

Luckily we crashed square on.

Nah been to that guy and he's way overpriced!

Really sorry to hear this, glad you are alive :tea:

I also got confused for two seconds thinking you'd had twins as a result of the accident

I don't have space or the inclination to buy and break one. Takes far too long
You're doing it wrong then! Breakers near where i used to live would do a disco a day - good stuff out, big grinders straight through the body to the engine and gear box, straight out, scrap man collects chassis and cut up body, rest go on the shelf to be sold (or more often than not, already sold so off to new owner)

I don't have spare shelves or sheds!
