Well given everything that I currently have on my plate at the moment, I thought I would at least get the test out of the way (one less worry so to speak). Oh so I thought.
Having just popped my dad in to the wheelchair I bouled him to the hospital canteen for a bit of a treat, however the mood soon plummeted, I was devastated, you see I had just received that dreaded phone call informing me that the old girl had failed. The rear tubular outrigger on the left side was rotten, absolutely shot, in fact there was very little left of it. I've now got 10 days to figure out how I am going to replace this part and get it back to the test centre!!!!!!
Have any of you clever folk ever replaced this part, how would you weld the tubular section to the chassis. I'm assuming it would need to be a very neat seam weld.?! Also does anyone have the part number for the bolt kit that I require to connect it back up to the body.?!
As always thanks everyone.
