MOT Advisory

Well my rally Freelander passed it's MOT today. Only 1 advisory - AFTERMARKET SUSPENSION !! Ha ha ha. Strange that they list suspension as an advisory but not any of the other mods.
Is this a stealthy way of getting modified vehicles off the streets, list more of the mods year on year until they deem it a fail. I'm sure I read about this a while back..........

For a while the mot peeps seemed to get hammered on what they pointed out. News/courts etc. So to cover themselves they seem to list things they would like to point out they noticed. Like an oil leak that's not a fail, but something to advise about. I don't think they're trying to push cars oft the road. If yours was in a crash and the mot investigated, they noticed there were mods.

that suspension looks better than the original stuff.
