Disco 1 More Heat from Central Console Since Gearbox and Transfer Gearbox Reconditioning

Hi all,

I recently had the gearbox and transfer gearbox on my Disco 1 300 TDi reconditioned and since then, have had a lot more heat coming from the central console than I ever had before - it used to get hot but nothing like it is now!
Any ideas about what could be causing it?
