Looked at all the search and link results, very informative, printed off a good few for further ref....yes,you guessed it,the ES auto sailed the MOT......apart from the boot floor
.....
funny cos "apart" is the bit I need advice on.I know about drilling out all the spotwelds but what are the other options?Chop the panel out close to the lip/ledge,then grind back to the good stuff and expose the missing bits for replacement?Or,if the lip looks bad,cut all round above it and make a whole fresh frame outa box or angle? And what about the seatbelt mounts...are new ones available/advisable,or do I try salvage the old, condition dependent?
On the whole I got a pretty good idea of how to put a floor in,Im just a bit at sea about taking it out!Anyone got any practical experience they would share? Please?Soon?
thanks you lot,the advice from you all is what got the rest of the vehicle through
in hope,shocksi
