How hard can it be?

Hello all, after very little thought or planning I have started my winter off road project and was wondering if anybody has been mad enough to do this before or know of any constructive advice.
This may upset some so I can only apologise in advance, landrover discovery v8 gearbox and transfer box, axles and props on a bare Jimmy chassis, bulkhead and floor, with a Mopar 5.2 la v8, 4 links front and back, space frame cage etc.
Main point of discussion at the moment is the marriage of the engine and box? Has it been done before? Is there an adapter plate out there which could same me a ton of time?
