Anyone been watching his Hebridean venture?

He's got a red crewcab 110 that promptly broke down on the first episode before it even got of the boat

Then last week, his transmission blew up. Have a sneaking suspicion he was driving around with the diff lock on.

He had a Landy - I don't know if it was the same one - in his last series Great Escape. Don't recall too many problems with that one though

I've been watching that series with great interest as I lived up there for 2 years when I was younger, I think he's done a great job showing how beautiful the place is and how friendly the people are, so much so that my missus wants me to take her there on holiday.

I agree that he prob was driving round with difflock on but £1000 to repair I know it's the outer hebrides but it doesn't cost that much to transport stuff there.

I was tempted to go have a trip there myself! He really has showcased the islands well - it looks beautiful.

Yeah, I think he had the same Landy last time. It was his face that said it all when he broke down. He looked like he knew he'd done something wrong and then said, "I think it's a problem with the diff lock."

He's a bit of a turnip is that was the case.
