It dosen't happen very often these days but a burnt out valve could cause it so get compression test done

well got nw leads coil pack an plugsan fuel filter, still not right, going in to james tennant on wednesday to get sorted, it drive but spluttery an no power, doing my head in

Never fear, gentleman James will sort you out. Mine was in there today for airbags and they did a great job in no time at all.

Come on your letting the side down, you couldn't have a crack at doing them yourself? but then I heard you got bags of ££ laying around :D

Hi ya had all the same symptoms. Had compression check done, O/S bank all at 150PSI, N/S bank had one at 150PSI and the other 3 around 50-60PSI.

Head taken off and voila, there was the problem!

well its only f-ing playing up again, over heated on me again, was told it looked like an airlock, oh an the pressure cap felt abit dodgy, so got a new one, topped up the water via the top hose, then everything seemed ok,

pick up a plant trailer the other day to go pick up a roller, drove for a few miles, all ok, sat in traffic for quite a wile, everything ok, started going up a slight hill an temp gauge went right up in the red, to end with light on,

now im hoping its just a sensor, which i got, but thought ide get a new thermostat as well, (there wasn't one in there) one off the bolts only snapped, :hurt:

p38 onwership is doing my sweed in at mo.

wish i looked on hear first about the location, its being a nightmare,

i just noticed that on off the rubber heater matrix pipes, (one that goes to engine) is leaking a little where it joins engine, would this couse me problems with air locks etc

well, thought ide give an update, my prob ended up being head gasket, so got that done at a garage, i said do both side's, they said only one needs doing  anyway they did one an been having prob ever since, changed- rad-water pump-thermostate, nightmare,

anyway its in my garage now an me an a m8 are going to do the head gaskets, so im thinking about super charging it, anyone done this, an is there a manifold out there, (saves me getting my m8 to build one)

also is there anywhere i can buy 2 new heads, ported an polished ones,
