Mirrors

Having had a 'little coming together' and bashing my door mirror I have had to source a replacement unit.

Having been sent one from a salvage yard it looks like its from a later model as it's colo(u)r coded.

The pin/block has ten wires and is the same as the plug in the wiring look so my question is are the earlier/later mirrors interchangable?

Another question in relation to this is the colour code on the replacment is blue where mine were non coloured. My Rangy is Niagraa grey so I was thinking of respraying it body colour - are these paint colours availble typically in somewhere like Halfords or is it a dealer job?

halfords should have the paint you want.

there are dozens of different spec mirrors for range rover, part number will be the only way to tell if you have the correct one.

Within a few days you'll get the proper replacement and forget the scrap yard.....

Well good news is that it fits and all the function work fine - looked in Halfords and they don't stock a Niagara Grey or similar. Any other ideas where I might find some spray paint?

Any paint supplier will make you up an aerosol to match the colour you want. I believe Halfrauds will as well. You just need the LR Paint Code
