Hi Folks,

My names Jon, 26 years of age, I'm new to the Landy world, and of course this site... :)

Been a MINI nut for 6 or 7 years, and currently have a lovely little 2006 Cooper S, but I've always also wanted a Landy! Took the plunge last month and bought myself a 1999(T) Disco 2, V8 with LPG in ES spec - Oxford Blue with cream leather.

Shes only done 90k miles, decent history, but enough little issues to keep me busy and entertained...

Pics to follow shortly :)

So, don't flame me if I ask daft questions, the first of which will follow shortly :p

Cheers,

Jon

:welcome2: You'll be under the landy as often as you were under the Mini :)

Probably slightly more... it's one of them new fangled minis :p

Have to say, even for a big chap like me (6ft5 and 20 stone), the Landy is nice and easy to crawl under

Couple of pics of the old girl for you all :D

(yes I know it's a bit clean - but I'm a bit of a car cleaning geek)

well we best sort that particular problem out for you and go offroading and get the thing a bit muddy for you won't we :D

I did get it muddy before I washed it...honest :p

For anyone who wants to know... the wash included a Mer shampoo, Megs claybar, Megs Paint Cleaner, AG SRP, and Megs Carnuba wax  Plus plenty of AG Bumper Care on the black plastic trim :p Paintwork is now as smooth as glass, and has far fewer marks on it ;)

See, told you I was a geek :p

Not if it's a scratchy one  Think of the polish required

Nice big wide open lanes where folks have kindly trimmed their bushes are not a problem :p

Have also spotted some ex-MOD sites around which appear to be frequented off roadiers... need to find out when they're open (if at all)

 if your bored you can come an do my Golf, Honda and the 90. Not sure when they last saw a soapy rag. Hants to Surrey isn't too far.
