Can you get a reliable decent Defender without having to pay over £8000

Ive never been asked if my 90 is a van or a s/w, but its on a classic policy so maybe they done care so much?

I drove for an hour to pick mine up. But I was also going to drive up to Blackpool from Cornwall to pick up a series 2. It does seem like there has been a lot for sale on eBay up in the Yorkshire area (or other northern parts of the UK, but anywhere above Bristol is north).

I guess it might be a big defender area there, and I guess you could fly/coach/train your way there and just have to do the return drive.

Yep, 'up north' I can easily see 20-30 a day whilst popping to the shop and just driving around for an hour, they are everywhere
