Hi and welcome to everyone. My name is Scotty and im from Northampton. New to RR although always been into cars and other forums so thought id drop by.
Anyway my story! Ok my Dad has a 3.9 RRC and had a few little spins out in it as its his project/toy. Bit rough round the edges but put full leather in it etc etc etc. But first taste or the comfort/range rover bug.
Well thats started the fire. So went and test drove a few L322 although with a 9 month old wanted to get something to leave money in bank for all those little big things!! Parenthood!! So pleased to say after looking around found a quite tidy P38 for a good price. Its a S reg 4.6 HSE in dark blue (oxford blue? unsure?). Its 107k with ful service history and recent suspension overhaul so all good their. Has 20" genuine stormer wheels and also got the old 18" Hurricane wheels and tyres thrown in!! Bonus! Although going to sell these but unsure on price? Anyway few bits to do on the interior, centre cubby box broken, glove box strut needs replacing and leather needs a damm good clean/dye and stereo needs sorting but little things really. Other then that tick'ity'boo!!
Bit different from my other cars of yesterday. I sold my rover mini cooper to buy this and then sold my everyday alfa romeo but worth it even with the fuel bill!! Car history for those interested. 7 minis of different styles (had 3 this year!!), usual fords (fiesta,escort) then went jap, Mazda Rx7, toyota MR2 turbo, alfa 156 sportswagon. Not too bad for 27 years young!
Anyway enough now lets go treat the new girl to lots of nice new treats and have a proper look over the forum!!
