military wiring loom

hi, can any body tell me what the difference is between the loom for a lightweight and a normal swb military land rover.

The loom for a lightweight includes wiring for a central rotary light switch and infra-red headlight system etc, so more wires in complex patterns. Also some relays which wouldn't be standard on the civvy loom. If you're not worried about originality you can fit the series IIA headlights in wings loom to a lightweight, along with standard series II switch gear. I've done it in the past and it works well.
