Military paint Disco 1

Looks great (both) thinking of doing this myself but in black

Here's mine. Synthetic NATO green. Roller and brush job. Always getting compliments on how good it looks.

has anyone tried the bronze green on a disco if so what does it look like on the number one 4x4

Does anyone know the BS or RAL code for camel trophy yellow paint - or something close?
I really like the colour.

I'm testing this bronzed green gloss on my spare sheet of aluminium.
I think it would look great.

always thought the series landies looked smart bronze green so the disco 1 should look even smarter (being the ultimate landy)

...seems legit.

This was the morning after getting drunk with a couple of mates and painting Tiny in the dark. Two coats of military Matt black slapped on with a roller with no thinners.
Paint was a little rough in places (could shave by rubbing your face along the passenger door!) but a third thinned coat would have fixed that.

I'm still around ba. Tiny MOT was up and needed bits doing that I could be arsed with plus needed money so stripped her.
Web a year then bought a 300tdi auto about 3 months ago. Had new boot floor plus front arches, body lift, 31" tyres, half decient suspension, blah blah.....

Still want a V8 but that will need to wait as I'm using it as a daily.

Ah that's good, glad to hear you're rolling again. The diesel makes a great daily, the v8 does NOT and do NOT think for ONE second you can afford it because you can't.

Mine sees daylight every now and then and that's enough for me thankyou, criminal fuel usage tbh.

Dads got a 300 which I use for running about in and it's legendary, love the car.

Anyway yeah still fighting thanks mate, absorbing money like a goodun!

If u look closely the only think that's similar is the colour, everything else is different...

Sorry to bring up an old thread but this is great. How long till the paint goes off as I will be doing it outside or should I wait till summer
