Hello People,

I'm after some part no's or any info on where to get the parts to convert my 90's heater air intake from top of the wing to a military side intake it uses a series III intake grill but at the front nearside corner of the wing. Any help would be great Cheers Jai

Cheers Spyderman,
It doesnt show the fitment on these manuals although I know you can get it as I have seen it on a few ex mod landys

I can't fit the Snow cover as I have my snorkel going through the old heater vent (top of wing) as per special vehicles I have seen the mod on. Will need to mabe get a length of pipe and experiment me thinks Jai

Ah sorry its a bit confusing. I mean the series III vent right at the front of the wing that is connected to the intake of the 90's heater its a sharp 90 degree bend and sits right up inside the wing. I could probably make the tubing just wondered if there was a part I could buy to save messing about with different diameters of pipework Jai

No that's not the part.
It's for the marines winterised rovers.... the heater ducting is extended down to the front "nose" of wing (you'll see a series 3 type heater intake grill just near the sidelight/indicator lights), and the engine intake goes up through the original heater ducting

Its a very rare part by all accounts, I believe only fitted to some sas and special vehicles but there should be a part no somewhere for the internal hose. I saw the bits and didn't buy them ages ago pre snorkel but whe you need them you can't find them! Fed up of breathing engine fumes. Jai

Ah was gonna sugest usin' normal vent hoses. But if these are too big, how about a hoover/vacuum hose? Sayin' that.. Trewy used some stuff to knock up a snorkel;) :D

All I really need is a really tight 90 degree bend to fit the series III vent hose to connect to that then it has to be small enough to tuck under the wing but then engarge the size so I can get large enough to go on the 100mm or larger heater intake. Leave it with me folks when I find what Im looking for I'll post pics thanks for your help Jai
