Middle Door replacement- Defender/S3

I have a 1989 110 CSW that I am fixing up back to a usable state.

Doing so involves replacing the four side doors- a main problem within the vehicle as only one side door (passenger) is working.

I have , due to cost , gone for the Series 3 Anti-Burst door bottoms and tops for the front two doors and am looking to follow suit with the middle row.

As I understand, for starters , there are no S3 anti-burst middle doors available so I would have to change the lock plate on the body? Or can I drill a hole to fit anti-bursts?

But firstly do Series middle row doors fit Defender door frames? I have nothing to suggest either way...

Then comes the question of what goes into the skin- windows etc - what would I need to purchase?

If anyone has done this conversion or has an early 110 (which as I understand has these style doors?) I would be grateful for all possible help! Pictures or written.

Thank you in advance for your help,

Elliot.

series 3 doors fit perfectly, are you talking 2 piece or 1 piece?, the 2 piece early 110 doors are not anti burst, they use a unique pin to latch to and it will make you wince when you see the pin price, I will try and post pics shortly as I have fitted 2 piece doors all round on my soft top csw, they have ally tops as opposed to steel and are far better but as rare as hens teeth in second row format.

Paddocks or craddocks had the single piece rears at a good price a few weeks ago.

I was intending to use the once piece as the 110 is a hard top. Paddocks have a good price- wanted to check before buying though! Thank you very much for the advice, I would be interested to see two piece doors- haven't come across them yet!

Thanks again,
Elliot.

Wow thats a very nice 110! I see what you mean by complicated and I hate to see the price! So you say however, that the hinge holes and door size are interchangeable between Series 3 middle and Defender? (For the one part door)
