mi 90 dont work since i washed it

A few months ago i made the same mistake of washing my defender.... i didnt even go near the engine bay, but next morning it wouldn't start :eek: By that evening it started fine though....

Not washed it since!! :D

Sounds like either water in the starter solenoid or in the fuel cut off switch assuming it's your 300tdi that's playing up. The later is at the back of the engine I think.

You could try using an air line to blow the water out of the electrics or an electric paint stripper gun AT A DISTANCE to dry it out. You want warm not hot. A hairdryer might work also but anyone coming by will definitely take the ****.
Otherwise go down the pub and come back to it tomorrow, it might still not work as it's very damp this weekend which will slow down the drying out.

its mi td whats playing up
mi 300 tdis a 200tdi but i wouldnt jet wash mi tdi engine
