metal pipe selant

well guys after my disco 1 200tdi lreg has been at the garage it turns out that there is corroded fuel pipes sucking in air causing idle issues. does any one have any kind of temporary fix for this like some kind of sealant i can spread on the metal fuel pipes coming from the sender unit and the fuel sedimenter just to get me over the weekend for laneing.

you could try a little chemical metal, but i make no guarantees though

cut the metal pipe at the bad bit and stick a piece of rubber fuel pipe over the cut and use a couple of jubilee clips to hold it on.
