How do I get the message centre to display information? Pixels are working fine but there no messages displayed?

Can I reset the instrument information with a basic obd code reader or do I need something more specific?

Thanks

Try pressing in on the end of the indicator stalk (silver button) with ignition on.

I have tried pressing the button. It just scrolls through the on board computer menu? Do I need to hold it in for a length of time ?

Thanks

Any errors that I should be warned about? I have seen clips on youtube where it displays everything from key in ignition to warnings but mine just shows blank? Is this normal? Should it display basic things like if a door was left open?

Thanks

Will remain blank until you get a problem....

if you press the right hand push button on the dash you will get a check control...and if no errors all will be fine.

Open a door then drive forward, it will warn you then the door is open...or leave the lights on and turn ignition off...it will tell you your lights are on....or leave hand brake on and drive away, again will tell you that you have left the handbrake on.

if a bulb blows or a fuse goes, a message will display...

It won't give diagnostic information, or fault codes...it will indicate Engine Failsafe message or Transmission Failsafe message, or if the ABS/HDC/EAS/DSC goes south but won't tell you why....

The L322 will need LR specific diagnostics to read the various systems, although by law engine emission data nd faults are readable using a generic OBDII scanner...but you won't get anything else on it!
