hi
every time the ignition key is turned on or the lights are operated the message centre on my p38 4.0se says bulb fail yet they all are working?
would the cause be the hid headlights as they require less power?

yea you have to put something in-between to it thinks its drawing the current a load resistor

Re the HIDS, the place I was looking to buy from. Also sold the lead to prevent the message centre displaying your message ... Give them a call they should be aware if there a good company

You (if you look around ) can get them with the resistor built in already
