Merry Chrismas to All ! Help with L322 DVD

My 2008 4.2 SC has developed a problem the DVD player is not recognising that there are DVD in the cassette and occasionally comes up with a blue screen and "Mech Error" any ideas or people or places to seek out for a fix ?

i had issue with my sat nav disc. was just a bit damp
