Hi all,

As I'm starting to spend a bit of cash on my Landy it's moving away from a bag of ****e into a tidy machine. Hence, I want to stop any thieving bastards from robbing it. I regularly nip somewhere in it so a physical device like a pedal lock will become a pain after a while and no doubt the time I don't bother locking it will be the time it gets nicked.

I've seen this thing called Mech Lock on MudStuff - MUDSTUFF.CO.UK, Meck Lock Anti Theft System, Land Rover Defender Solutions: West Yorkshire that immobilises the clutch.

Anyone got any experience with it?

Cheers in advance.

Craig

Not yet, there's enough better Landy's round here and mine looks like **** up top at the moment. Hoping that's deterrent enough for now - and I live 100 yards away from the cop shop.

But you've made a good point there. Once they've broken in there's still cost to fix it even if they don't get past the mech lock.

Good point cheers. You recommend the Disklok over pedal lock? I can see it's more of a visible deterrent anyway.

every day of the week. A landy with the pedals locked can still be towed away. A landy with no steering is much harder especially if you park with your steering on full lock.;)
