I've been looking to sort out my seats. The drivers side cushion has collapsed on the back left bolster (pretty uncomfortable) and the passenger track has snapped at some point so its not very stable. The seats trims are tired and recover kits with new cushions + trims seem to be £70+ and the only rails I could find where £77.

So I bought these the other day...

...after seeing a photo of some fitted to a defender. For £68 as an hours drive, I thought it was worth a punt. Both seats are drivers side, so are height adjustable, which is a plus.

I test fitted one yesterday - the tracks where the same width apart as the original seats (bonus), so it was about a 5 minute job to fit the front 2 bolts. The tracks aren't long enough to bolt the rear in, but I will sort that out this week. I drove to work in it today and its made a hell of a difference! They are comfy, nice fit and great driving position. I do have a smaller wheel which I think helps as they are slightly higher. I'll get a photo up later (in work at the moment).

The biggest pain seems to be removing the covers enough to refit my heated seat pads - A must if the current weather is any indication of how winter will be! :)

Also, getting in and out is slightly different due to the bolster, but I'll soon get used to that!

Anyway, so far, a highly recommended purchase for anyone looking to upgrade their seats on a budget!

Anyone else got these? How do you find them?

I have leather electric heated ones in mine :p Miles comfier than any others I've sat in.

I Looked at a few others including Electric leather ones, but couldnt pass up the price and location of those others.

Might upgrade at some point in the distant future if the funds become available!

Bit of a delay, but both seats are in now! Passenger seat in a bit further over than original as it's a drivers side with a slight offset. The wife doesn't seem to mind, so I'll see how it goes. The rear runners are bolted through the floor anyway, so I could always move it over an inch or two if required. Drivers side is spot on, comfy and fairly easy to slide in/out of. I can see the seat bolster wearing fairly quickly though...time will tell! Anyway for £68 I can't complain :)
