Today i had a problem with my TD4, i was sat out side my house, engine on and stationary, i put the car into first and the clutch stuck down, then the car was forcing against the break pedal to drive! it was asif someone was pushing the accelerator, then the car stalled! the clutch lifted back up and all seemed fine, i drove about 20 miles and then about 100 yards from my road the car wouldn't go into gear, the clutch was stuck down and would come back up, but couldn't get the car into gear, it stalled again!
My uncle came up and looked at the car he said it is most likely to be the Master Clutch Cylinder,
my question is; prices of these vary on the net from £60-£180, i live in bristol and was wondering if anyone knew any reliable (cheapish) part dealers, also any advise on the problem is appriciated,
