Markslandy freelander

Hi everyone iv joined as I'm wanting bit of help advice with a freelander 1 diesil td4 had fuel problems done all usual things in tank pump filter etc now on turning it on sounds to be drawing air somewhere at back of engine any ideas I'm no machanic so anyone local to South yorkshire don't mind abit of help thank you all
