Manual Turbo boost controllers

Has anyone fitted a manual turbo boost controller? Engine 300tdi.

What do you want to fit one for?

16psi & wound out pump normally does the trick.

Oh... ok. Yes but in a racer,so we could tune it down if needed as temperature probe on EGR blank fit too hot.
If I remember it's a 2 way adjustable valve.

Yes there are variants on a theme, some use a ball and spring to act as a gate to keep pressure from reaching the wastegate , others use a bleed system. Only bonus I can see on a 300tdi is that it saves having to mess around with the wastegate under the manifold. Esp. is the engine has been running....ouch..hot. But only of use if you want to keep adjusting it for some reason. Otherwise set the wastegate on the threads, check pressure is what is required and forget about it.

Yep it's saves burning fingers.
We liked the valve because you change on the go.
Tried a 3 way but changed to a reliable 2 way. Make sure you have the psi gauge on the non restricted size.
