maf sensor

hi will removing the maf sensor on my freelander td4 ..do the engine any harm ? removed it with me having power lack ..and seams to have sorted it

Wunt do it any harm. but yer dunt wannabe thinkin of it as a permanent solution

Once the mafs unplugged the puter uses default settings for the airflow and air temp and chucks fuel in to those settings instead of whats required

Lots of info on here if yer do a search !
Then yer just need to make up yer mind which way yer wanna go
new origional (expensive and not reliable)
new peirburgh + roverron gadget (cheaper maf but then you have to buy roverron box)

PS dont go for the cheap ****e on flea bay !!!

thanks mate ,was going to get one if you know of any contacts for me that would be great ..i live in northampton area ,,just did not want to go down the main dealer road
