That's ok Mike but i wish these little titbits could be stored somewhere on the site for the members reference. It's sometimes a bit of a ballache going over things time and time again.

Yeh true true, i seem to spend more time lookin for things ive seen on other post's and trawling threw loads of tripe just for the simplest of things, is there anyway we can get "the boss" to set up a bit for and or named MEMBERS REFERANCE... but only available to read if you are a member not just a fly by night visitor lookin for help then dissapearing etc...
 
I bet the common questions and answer section would be an ideal place.......Oh we have one:doh::doh:

No no, i mean for info like the start of this thread... files that explain how to do certain jobs NOT comments etc... a place for PDF files that can be down loaded but only used by members NOT guests.:doh:
If we have this somewhere and ive missed it then sorrryyyyyyy. just a thought.
 
don't think Accy will be appy with having so much extra bandwidth being used - maybe a link to the original location would be a better bet - thanks for offering to maintain it Mike

Yeh Sean il maintain it, il roll my sleeves up and try anythin with a few pointers ere and there, it was just a thought but looks like its not possible... shame it would of been a brilliant bit of the site with usefull files with pics well illustrated, with out every1 adding there own bit that could "possibly" be wrong causin even more heart acke on the spanner end... but im not a computer tech chap so lets just see what tecnology brings us in a few more years.
