Disco 2 M & S lights malfunction

Hi! all first time so here is the problem....Td5 disco.2004
Green M and S lights are coming on to often.
cannot engage gear without loosing power.

The Disco is in limp mode for safety reasons.
You can Google the answer about the flashing M&S lights but you'll need the fault codes off of your Disco to properly troubleshoot the problem.
Read the fault codes with a reputable OBDII diagnostic tester and report your findings back here.

"Reputable" means not a typical, simplistic OBDII tester, you need one specialised in the systems on your vehicle, Nanocom, Hawkeye, Foxwell Scantool, or one used by a LR specialist. Then we can really help you, or the tool itself might point you in the right direction. If you look at
