Fantastic news and Good news.

The Good news is food will be available all weekend.

In addition to tea, coffee, squash and cake there will be a BBQ menu of Bacon butties/rolls, Burgers, Cheeseburgers and Hotdogs from Friday afternoon through to Sunday.

Not any old rubbish either but quality produce. The final decision on prices is still pending but they will be very reasonable and considering the quality an absolute bargain :)

The Fantastic news is this has all been sorted over the last few days when we discovered we had been very sadly misinformed and somewhat let down about the Hog roast which won't now be happening which, as I'm sure you can imagine, caused a little consternation.

Happily after intercontinental negotiations (sobbing, hysterical wailing, incoherant babbling) a heroine stepped forward from amongst us and gathered our fleeing wits to her heaving bosom (so to speak) and forged a way forward.

Floating now in the calm waters of sorted arrangements, with hindsight, I think we should have planned this from the beginning. Food available throughout will make for a better event all round and while a Saturday evening hog-roast as well would be nice there's always next year

That is sexist and deeply offensive :mad:

It's a BBQ wimmins won't be allowed anywhere near it :D

Well why dint ya say. I'm a dab hand at burning things on the outside whilst skillfully ensuring that they are raw inside. I love cooking salad. No....Bugger.....I'll help flip burgers if you want.

This ere wimmin is going to plying herself with copious amounts of alcohol and lying down in a darkened corner of the marquee all weekend :D

You will be if you eat my cooking........can I recommend being in the corner nearest the WC's. I'll even loosen the tent pegs so you dunt need to find the way out of the marquee.

My mrs will supply carratt cakke with the use of a field kitchen and a couple of beeatches to make the fromage compoment...

Good call ..

Hog Roasts are fine, but steady, decent, cooked food all weekend will be far more beneficial IMHO .. 'specially in the am ... ;)

Does this mean I can get away with bringing no food and no camping stove? I plan to be ruffing it sleeping in the back of the landie so space is at a premium :)
