I'm not. I'm genuinely annoyed here too. No one is returning contact for this apart from a few off road site's. Not many hotels will want a couple of hundred 4X4's rocking up and crashing their venue. Can't we just go with any where we can get? Really would love a massive LZ meet!

Would be nice but so many need their comforts, not for comforts sake but some have medical needs so B&Bs, Travelodge thingys to stay locally is better - how far from the 'Meeting Field' is the next thing, the P&P and laning can be a little further out ...

I don't even want P&P. I'd kill my disco if I did that
. We had a place with hotel but it wasn't central enough. I think moving it further north would save total mileage as people like me may have to drive a few miles further but the border lot will be more likely to come.

Right now I think we'll be taking what we can get. Apart from p&p at frikley or wherever it was..has anywhere else come up as a possibility ?

Frickley haven't got back to me with any more details despite promising after several follow up calls.
I suspect the problem is we are asking for something a little outside their normal pricing structure and don't know what to say.
Perhaps it would be easier to arrange a site elsewhere that focuses on accommodation and meeting place rather than somewhere that has it all.
It's difficult to gauge how much interest there is which doesn't help

Like i said earlier..got the contact details of a guy who arranges rallied for 4x4s, clssic cars and bikes etc...BUT clearly he and his knowledge and contacts would cost
People just aren't getting back to us most times.....despite hassling them ..and Christmas isn't helping either.

Are there 4* hotels within walking distance?
Holmfirth is a bit further north than Donny, so It probably won't be any good ...

It would seem a few B&Bs aren't going to cover it. Maybe we need to look for somewhere near a travellodge and work from there.
I have no idea of how many actually want a room or if it's possible to rework everything around those that do.
Either way nothing much is likely to happen over Christmas
Huddersfield is only 4 miles away for those who want a travel lodge etc
( I don't work for the holmfith tourist board BTW! lol )
