decided to do a long overdue upgrade of the LWT dash, it was modified when I got it anyway and the look of the vehicle doesn't quite warrant going back the original...........

Just one question though.... I have fitted an oil temp gauge, it already had an oil pressure gauge and the original oil pressure warning light (3.5v8 from a RR - on SU carbs), where does the temp sender unit go on the oil filter housing.... whatever came in the box doesnt seem to have the right threads ...? is there "T piece" I need to get so I can combine it with the pressure sender unit...? :5bbigear:

Still got a bit more work to do and sort out precious owners wiring nightmare...... but heres some photos of the dash and I appreciate that this may not be to everyones taste..... ;)

ouch man, there are some serious sharp corners on that thing, one bump and you will be sliced ****ted and bashed to death on it, i see you are using extruded ali profile, im guessing acquired from somewhere and not bought, can you not acquire something with a slightly rounder profile?

I've driven a lot of silly vehicles without safety devices but I think I'd not bother with that one. One 20 mph shunt and you'd be very badly injured! Since you've done a nice job of the gauges why not put some effort into a safer trim...

not when its free........... :D
free=stolen, not my problem but it will be your problem the first time you hit a big bump off road or god forbid have a shunt on road, that **** will seriously hurt you and any poor ****ing passenger you are carrying

do it properly, you are making it much much worse.

can you not put something over the edges ?

Forget the edges and its saftey its Hidious!! Well thats just my opinion and not that of everyone but hell what a waste
