Guys
Yesterday I changed the ATF and strainer on my '99 4.6l. The old oil was a good colour. Today I went for a run and I noticied that some of the gear changes are little lumpy. Nothing serious but just not as smooth as it was before I changed the oil.
The only thing I noticed during the chnage was how RAVE described the final fill procedure. It says to continue to add ATF with the engine idling until a thread of ATF runs out the filler hole. What I got was foam and not a thread. Is this normal or do I need to add more ATF?
