No progress I'm afraid.

I managed to bugger up a 2nd centre plate - must just be a retard I guess, so need to source another case.

And worse, my wife has been taken seriously ill so this is now rather low on the priority list. Hopefully will get back to it once she has recovered sufficiently.

While you've got that R380 on the bench, any chance you could take some photos of the bias plate and selector bush so I've got some idea of what I'm up against when I change mine please?

Ha, that's the one bit I can't do I'm afraid mate, I don't have a selector for this box. My mate has one in his shed waiting for me.

Fingers crossed I've sourced another knackered D2 380 that I can pinch the case from!

Shed problem solved!!

Bike store arrived last Thurs and I've got bags of space now Just need to re-org and get another bench built.

Might switch work over to the LT230 whilst I wait for the 3rd attempt 380 main case to arrive

Slightly diverted at the moment, got a failed HG on the D2, doh.

when were were discussing parts washes a while ago i said the ultimate parts washer being the disk washer and me saying i used my parents a couple of years ago. well i came across the photo......

What do you put in the dishwasher for detergent.

Fished out all the parts to start up reassembling my R380...

Found some surface rust has appeared on the layshaft - I thought I'd coated all the parts in oil, hmmm.
