hello :)

i have just finished converting my '84 110 from a 2.25d to a 200tdi from a '91 disco.

i have some clutch issue

what i have in place :

new master cylinder
new slave cylinder
new flex hose
bleeding ok

200tdi engine with :
2.25d flywheel housing (to bolt on the original lt77)
200tdi flywheel
2.25d clutch disc
2.25d pressure plate (or by mistake i switch it with the disco one ... don't fully remenber)
new bearing
new heavy duty fork

the problem :
i can't put any gear while the motor is running.

i was wondering if i have made a mistake somewhere...

the pressure plate as the same part number for the disco and the def, but it is different for a 2.25d from a s3. i can't figure a part number for a pressure plate for a land rover 110 with a 2.25d ... and i'm thinking that my problem is probably here ...

after some research other the web, it could be the clutch plate and the flywheel stick together by some rust. i try to start the motor only 1 month after assembling the clutch.
tomorrow i'll try to start with my foot on the clutch pedal, the other on the brakes with the 4th gear engaged.
i read that it could separate the plate from the flywheel ... let's see that tomorrow !

hey !
some updates :

motor off, i can engage every gears
motor running, i can only engage 4th & 5th gears (not as smooth as it should be, but i can !)
if i start the motor while a gear is engaged (included the first 3) with the clutch pedal down, no problem, i can even move forward if releasing the clutch pedal.
if i try to change gear then, again i can only go in 4 or 5 ...

so, it seems that clutch plate can partially separate from the flywheel but not completely.

what do u think about this ?
salve push rod too short ? wrong pressure plate ? anything else ?
